Goldwork Lion

I've taken a turn of direction the last couple of weeks with not stitching anything owly at all.  I had the wonderful opportunity to take a class from Tanja Berlin and have been working on her Goldwork Lion.  The red threads are the marking threads where more of the different couched gold, copper and pewter threads and purl threads will go.

  7. I love all the dimension in his face...fantastic you can do that with those stitches. I have never had luck working with metallic thread so I think what you have done here is great!
I am having trouble leaving you a comment through Bloglovin so I have sent them an email. Hopefully will be fixed soon!
