Picotless Tatting

Happy International Tatting Day!  I had no idea that this day occurred on April 1st which is also my birthday.  No wonder that I've been wanting to learn how to tat for so long!! This is a small piece that I managed to tat today sans picots.  It's all done in split rings and my tension is rather poor and I had trouble with each turn but I'm just happy that at long last I'm slowly figuring out how to do it :)

  2. belated birthday greeting from me Jenny, hope you had a great day, you must have had some teasing as a child or do you not have april fools day there?
Must remember both your birthday and tatting day next year. A good piece you have here, I like split rings, just have to remember to have a longer piece of thread.
