Bluebird in Progress

 I so enjoyed making my Curtain Bird that I had to make another and found a nice bit of blue material to use. 
 Wings and tail added to the body.  Wire legs to come next.
 I scattered a handful of sunflower seeds on the wood box and it didn't take long for this saucy little female Redpoll to come along.
My bleak Sunday drive on a Saskatchewan highway. Not a sign of green yet anywhere.

  2. Hello Jenny, Your bluebird is absolutely adorable... Spring has been very slow in coming this year and also very cold but our grass is now turning a lovely green and the snow is ALL gone.. VBG Hopefully Spring will come soon to you too. Hugs Judy

  14. I'm in Calgary....looks like us...just south of the city.... flat, barren and brown except for the snowy areas.... no spring here either....sigh......we all need a bluebird..
