Tomatoes Galore!!

It went down to 2 degrees Celsius last night with a risk of frost.  When we heard this my mom and I beetled outside and picked all the zucchini, cukes, peppers, eggplant and the rest of the tomatoes.  Thankfully my mom enjoys and is good at canning so she made sauce and ketchup and stewed tomatoes.
Our sewing table won't be used to cut out material anytime soon.
Here are a few on the basement floor.  It didn't freeze but at least they are all picked. In between making sauce, salsa, juice and helping to can I hope to get a few stitches in sometime this weekend.

  3. Wow...that is some haul of tomatoes. Mine have given up. I have a few cherry tomatoes still making an effort to go red. Not a great year veggie wise. I think it was too hot.
