Wheat-Ear & Chicks

Yet another very neat stitch I had not stitched before or even heard of.  This was week 17 of Sharon's TAST challenge and I really enjoyed learning how to do it.  I love the look of this stitch and will definitely use it again. I know they didn't look like chicks in amongst the wheat stalks but that's what they're supposed to be. I thought of taking them out and putting in a mouse instead but rather liked how they looked after all :)
