Canvas work

A couple of weeks ago I took a 3 hour canvas work class through our local stitchery guild.  One of our talented members designed this wonderful pattern to work up into either a scissor case or a small bowl. I'm on the last row and plan to work it into a bowl if I can.  Issue 74 of the magazine Stitch with the Embroiderer's Guild has full instructions for making a stitched bowl.

    1. Thanks Linda! I definitely will but first I have to figure out what design I'm going to do for this weeks french knot challenge. I'm drawing a blank at the moment but I'm sure to think of something.

    1. Thank you very much! They're not colours I usually work with at all & I have to say I like the colour combo a lot.

    1. Thank you Sherry! I hope it won't be a wonky bowl by the time I figure out how to do it but I'll post a picture regardless ;)

  4. Lovely work, JPP! I have a canvas piece languishing somewhere... ;-) I might just have to dig it out and finish it. Thanks for stopping by my blog; it's snowed on and off here today (again) too...sigh...

  5. Thanks Margaret! Certainly hope I finish this canvas piece in between all the TAST stitching. Made 130 French knots last night :) Cool and overcast here this morning but at least it's not snowing. That's in tomorrows forecast :( Enjoy your day!
