Week 40 of TAST was the Beaded Hedebo Edge stitch. I was a little reluctant to try it at first as it looked rather daunting but it's surprisingly not difficult at all. My tension doing the buttonhole part wasn't very good at first but by the time I got to the end of the pear outline I was doing better.
Had such a wonderful surprise when I drove into the yard after work and saw 5 Sharp-tailed Grouse on the lawn. They flew away when I pulled in but they went to the backyard and were there long enough for me to take a few pictures. Even though they are the provincial bird of our province I've rarely seen them. My mom went out and spread a bit of grain on the lawn so hopefully they'll come back.
This turned out really neatly! I haven't even had the time to look at the TAST this week! Sad. I like the little beads in the stitching!!!
