Brazilian Finish

 Vines around the tree.
Enjoyed stitching the leaves most of all.
The hedgehog was stitched separately on a piece of muslin over 2 small pieces of felt.  First it was covered with rows of long and short stitches and then bullion stitches. Then I cut it out of the muslin leaving about 5 mm of material around it, tacked it down at the back and then stitched it onto the finished piece.
I thoroughly enjoyed stitching Sylvia Murariu's Windy October and love the sheen of the Brazilian threads and the variety of stitches.  I'm keeping this one for myself!

  6. Jenny this is so beautiful, lovely scene and amazing stitches, I see from the title it is October, does that mean you have 11 more to do in the series? only joking but maybe it would be nice to have a block for each month
