Fused atc
Thoroughly enjoyed using my soldering iron this week to mark make and then stitch on this atc. The base material is from a piece of an old curtain which I then snipped various small pieces of organza on. I divided it up into 6 areas and fused the organza down with the soldering iron by mark making. Then I did some random stitching and when I was done I took a piece of reddish felt for the back and fused around the edge.

Gee, it looks fantastic! I haven't used a soldering tool, yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan! With all of your creative talents I highly recommend getting one. I was fortunate enough to take a class a couple of years ago from Margaret Beal who came to the EAC Seminar when it was held in Regina. It was a terrific class and I really enjoying fusing and mark making. Loads of fun!
