We've lived here for 10 years and have never seen any Sharp-tailed Grouse in our yard or in the area until this evening when 8 of them ran into the backyard. I quickly grabbed my camera, clambered onto the kitchen counter, slowly opened the window and took a few pictures before they took off. It was terrific to see them!!
