Triana scarf

I'm not a knitter at all.  I know how to do the basic knit and purl stitches and have made a few knitted dishcloths but that's about it.  I much prefer stitching with a needle and thread and crocheting. When one of my co-workers came to work wearing a lovely knitted scarf she had made I knew I had to make myself one. It is so easy and just 6 stitches. The wool does it all!

  1. I made one of these for my DIL for Christmas, and she really liked it. I used 1 1/2 balls since she is tall. When I returned to the store for another ball the same colour (I wanted one!) they were all out. boohoo!

  2. This scarf is beautiful. I just bought some new bamboo knitting needles that are a dream. Now I need this pattern since you have completely described my lack of knitting skills. Great job JennyPennyPoppy...

  3. Thank you both! These scarves are so popular now that the wool shop here that carries the Triana wool is constantly running out. I hope to make a couple more as they will make very nice gifts.
