TAST Fly Stitch
I signed up for Sharon's Take a Stitch on Tuesday program on her Pintangle site and to start the year we have the fly stitch. Can't say I've ever done this stitch before and here is my attempt at it. I also haven't decided on how I'm going to keep all of these TAST stitches. Some are making theirs into a fabric book, some into tags, postcards, atc's, band samplers or using them on crazy quilts. I haven't decided yet but I'd better decide soon.

Your stitches look great and this is a wonderful way to focus on learning new stitches or mastering well used ones. Happy stitching...
ReplyDeleteLooks great!

It looks good! What's your base fabric? I like how it has a nice border.
ReplyDeleteLove this little sampler! I know it's not easy to decide how to keep all stitches, it took me until last Tuesday! My fabric is prepared and I hope to start stitching my sampler tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteFinally decided to make a band sampler out of all the TAST stitches. Hope I'll be happy with this decision. It certainly is neat seeing all the different TAST designs we are all making. I believe I worked mine on 28 count linen to start with.
