Our winter birds

Every day the Grey Partridges make their trek into the yard and the magpies.
One is usually standing guard while the others are looking for seeds. I wonder how they take turns.
Just love having some common redpolls in the yard this winter as I don't think we had any last year.
Their bright red crown and reddish breasts make them easy to distinguish.
Looks like he has enough seeds here to keep him happy for awhile.

  1. The birds are such a cheery sight on a cold day, don't you think so? I love to see them flitting about.
