Run For the Cure weekend

Didn't do much stitching this weekend but I did manage to fill in another window area.  Should have used a lighter shade of green as the gold design would have shown up better.  Should also have used the continental or half cross-stitch instead of the full cross-stitch.  Would have been done by now.  Will try to finish the 2 remaining gold designs this evening but I have outside yard work to do as well which I really should do while this beautiful weather holds out.

So many people came out yesterday for the CIBC Breast Cancer Run/Walk for the Cure.  I was part of the Freedom Fighters team & we walked the 5 km & joined thousands all across Canada.

So glad that my darling man & two lovely daughters could walk with me.  Thank you!!! Meant a lot to me - especially since they had to take time off from work.
