Medieval Design #2


 The more I page through the Here Be Drolleries book the more I love the history & wonderful designs that Nancy Spies has charted.  This bookmark that I'm currently working on is from a 13th century design on The Door of the Nativity in the Russian town of Suzdal. The panels on these golden doors are absolutely fabulous pieces of art.
