April 2nd & we still have so much snow & it has just begun to snow again!  So sitting by the woodstove & stitching up a Christmas gift doesn't seem such an odd thing to do even though it's supposed to be spring.  This is a Cathy Jean Button Up Birdies 1 design.  Chickadees are by far one of my favourite birds & I thoroughly enjoy watching them come to the feeders all winter long & hearing their cheerful chick-a-dee-dee-dee song.  I plan to stitch up a few of these to give away.
