Blackwork & Blue & White

 Progress on my B for Blackwork Alphabet Stitch Book.  I had forgotten how lovely blackwork embroidery is.
Another LOVE of mine is Blue and White.  A task I never find onerous at all is taking down all my blue and white dishes and washing them.

    So pretty, Jeannette! The bird is looking great, and you have a nice collection of blue & white there. They do complement the blackwork, don't they? And now I am remembering your big blue & white cross stitch project, too. I see a trend! :D

    I love blue and white china too - you have a lovely collection. And I have stitched blackwork patterns in blue - I don't think there's a law against it.
