Another postcard sized piece again with organza and mark making onto felt with the soldering iron. I cut the poppy shapes out of a piece of polyester and used the pistil stitch for the centres. The stems were some leftover pieces of spun wool.

ReplyDeleteYou are able to capture the essence of the poppies so well with just a few fabrics and unusual tools. I would never have thought of using a soldering iron. Must remember pistil stitches for the middle.
