I knew I wanted to add a few bees but it took me a of couple days to figure out how I was going to go about it. Decided on just a few rows of bullion stitches with some leftover rococco gold thread from the Goldwork Lion kit.
Another busy bee amongst the flowers.
This was such a random bit of wet felting that I did a few weeks ago. Free motion machine stitching helped to make the different blotches of colour look more like flowers.
One of my daughters nicely said "Mom, you should make 100 more of these." Too many irons in the fire for that to happen but I'll keep it in mind.
Wishing everyone a lovely August day :)
