I've taken a turn of direction the last couple of weeks with not stitching anything owly at all. I had the wonderful opportunity to take a class from Tanja Berlin and have been working on her Goldwork Lion. The red threads are the marking threads where more of the different couched gold, copper and pewter threads and purl threads will go.
WOW!!! This is awesome! I'll be watching your progress! I've never had the opportunity to try any goldwork.

ReplyDeleteI love all the dimension in his face...fantastic you can do that with those stitches. I have never had luck working with metallic thread so I think what you have done here is great!
